Here, you’ll hear the powerful stories of people who dared to be brave. Stories of survival, strength, hope and healing. Together, we are rewriting what it means to be brave. One story and one act of courage at a time.

This podcast is for the ones who…

Have walked through fire, quietly in the dark

and still created safety for everyone around them.

Wasn’t protected, but became the protector

Had to reparent or rebuild themselevs

Faced abuse, trauma, betrayal, grief, or near-death, and lived to tell the story

Come for the stories, stay for what they awaken in you

Stories About the Unstoppable Force of Women That Had The Courage to be Brave

The woman behind the mic

I’m your host, Erin Mills, founder and CEO of Theory Salons, the You Should Be Brave Community and creator of this podcast. I have been married to my husband Ryan for 14 years, and we have two boys, Landon and Harrison. Long before that I was a single mother on food stamps, carrying trauma, loss and C-PTSD. Some of my biggest breakthroughs came from succeeding and failing in business. But the healing came from chooisng to face my chilhdhood trauma, my worst fears, the grief of loosing my daughter in ealry labor and my shadow self.

Through trauma recovery, Nervous system rewring, Neuro-Identity work and somatic healing, I learned that success is irrelevant if you can’t succeed without being in survivor mode, or experience true joy. What you overcome, what you chose to face and then heal from matters more than anything the world deems as successful. You matter and your story matters.

I hope that my journey reminds you that you are never too late or too broken to become the person you were born to be.
